On March 10, BMO issued a press release revealing new concrete measures to fight climate change by reducing GHG emissions.

BMO has been carbon neutral since 2010, is committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 and is now looking to go even further. BMO will more than double its commitment to sustainable finance by offering $300 billion in sustainable credit and underwriting and raising $700 billion through advocacy and investment management services by 2025.

In addition, BMO launched the BMO Climate Institute, a new multi-disciplinary organization harnessing science, analytics powered by innovative technology and industry-leading expertise on climate.
